Hadith - Faith in Allah Empty Hadith - Faith in Allah

Post  Lacra Sat Aug 15, 2009 6:46 am

Narrated byUmar ibn al-Khattab: Umar heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: 'If you put your faith completely in Allah, He will arrange for your sustenance in the same way as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with their stomachs empty and return filled in the evening.' (Tirmidhi, 79)

Hadith - Faith in Allah Empty Hadith (When Satan hears Azan and Iqama)‏

Post  Lacra Sat Aug 15, 2009 6:47 am

AbuHuraira reported the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: When Satan hears the call to prayer, he turns back and breaks the wind so as not to bear the call being made, but when the call is finished he turns round and distracts (the minds of those who pray), and when he bears the iqama he again runs away so as not to hear its voice and when it subsides, he comes back and distracts (the minds of those who stand for prayer). (Muslim, 753)

Hadith - Faith in Allah Empty Hadith (Seeking Refuge in Allah...)‏

Post  Lacra Sun Aug 16, 2009 12:20 pm

Zaid b. Alqam reported: I am not going to say anything but only that which Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) used to say. He used to supplicate:" O Allaah, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity, from sloth, from cowardice, from miserliness, decrepitude and from torment of the grave. O Allaah, grant to my soul the sense of righteousness and purify it, for Thou art the Best Purifier thereof. Thou art the Protecting Friend there of, and Guardian thereof. O Allaah, I seek refuge in Thee from the knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allaah), from the soul that does not feel contented and the supplication that is not responded." Hadith - Faith in Allah Empty Hadith (Should I fast while Travelling?)‏

Post  Lacra Fri Sep 04, 2009 6:49 am

Narrated 'Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) Hamza bin 'Amr Al-Aslami asked the Prophet, "Should I fast while traveling?" The Prophet replied, "You may fast if you wish, and you may not fast if you wish." (Bukhari, 1826)

Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 31, Number 165:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas
:

Allah's Apostle set out for Mecca in Ramadan and he fasted, and when he reached Al-Kadid, he broke his fast and the people (with him) broke their fast too. (Abu 'Abdullah said, "Al-Kadid is a land covered with water between Usfan and Qudaid.")

Volume 3, Book 31, Number 166:
Narrated Abu Ad-Darda:

We set out with Allah's Apostle on one of his journeys on a very hot day, and it was so hot that one had to put his hand over his head because of the severity of heat. None of us was fasting except the Prophet and Ibn Rawaha. (Sahih Bukhari )

Feeding a Fasting Person

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "He who gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will receive the same reward as him, without nothing being reduced from the fasting person's reward." [At-Tirmidhi, 1992]

Someone Invites for a Meal

Abu Huraira (Allaah be pleased with him) reported Allaah's Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: If any one of you is invited to a meal when he is fasting, he should say:" I am fasting." (Muslim, 2562)

On His Behalf

Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever died and he ought to have fasted (the missed days of Ramadan) then his guardians must fast on his behalf." (Bukhari, 1835)

Love in Ramadan

A'isha reported: Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) used to kiss me while observing fast; and who among you can control his desire as the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) could control his desire. (Muslim, 2438)

Give Charity Generously

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Allah's Apostle was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night of ramadan to teach him the Qur'an. Allah's Apostle was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds). (Bukhari, 5)

Hadith - Faith in Allah Empty Intercession by Fasting and Qur'an

Post  Lacra Tue Sep 15, 2009 3:28 pm

Narrated byAbdullah ibn Amr: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Fasting and the Qur'an intercede for a man. Fasting says, 'O my Lord, I have kept him away from his food and his passions by day, so accept my intercession for him.' The Qur'an says, 'I have kept him away from sleep by night, so accept my intercession for him.' Then their intercession is accepted."(Al-Tirmidhi, 1963)

Non-Believers on the Day of Resurrection

Anas b. Malik reported that Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: It would be said to the non-believers on the Day of Resurrection: If you were to possess gold, filling the whole earth, would you like to secure your freedom by paying that? He would say: Yes. Thereupon it would be said to him: Something easier (than this) was demanded from you (but you paid no heed to it). (Muslim, 6735)
