Hadith - Faith in Allah
Narrated byUmar ibn al-Khattab: Umar heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: 'If you put your faith completely in Allah, He will arrange for your sustenance in the same way as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with their stomachs empty and return filled in the evening.' (Tirmidhi, 79)

Hadith (When Satan hears Azan and Iqama)
AbuHuraira reported the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: When Satan hears the call to prayer, he turns back and breaks the wind so as not to bear the call being made, but when the call is finished he turns round and distracts (the minds of those who pray), and when he bears the iqama he again runs away so as not to hear its voice and when it subsides, he comes back and distracts (the minds of those who stand for prayer). (Muslim, 753)

Hadith (Seeking Refuge in Allah...)
Zaid b. Alqam reported: I am not going to say anything but only that which Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) used to say. He used to supplicate:" O Allaah, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity, from sloth, from cowardice, from miserliness, decrepitude and from torment of the grave. O Allaah, grant to my soul the sense of righteousness and purify it, for Thou art the Best Purifier thereof. Thou art the Protecting Friend there of, and Guardian thereof. O Allaah, I seek refuge in Thee from the knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allaah), from the soul that does not feel contented and the supplication that is not responded." (Muslim, 6568)
The Devils are Chained
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." (Bukhari, 1785)

Love in Ramadan
A'isha reported: Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) used to kiss me while observing fast; and who among you can control his desire as the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) could control his desire. (Muslim, 2438)
Give Charity Generously
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Allah's Apostle was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night of ramadan to teach him the Qur'an. Allah's Apostle was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds). (Bukhari, 5)

Intercession by Fasting and Qur'an
Narrated byAbdullah ibn Amr: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Fasting and the Qur'an intercede for a man. Fasting says, 'O my Lord, I have kept him away from his food and his passions by day, so accept my intercession for him.' The Qur'an says, 'I have kept him away from sleep by night, so accept my intercession for him.' Then their intercession is accepted."(Al-Tirmidhi, 1963)
Zakat ul Fitr
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet (upon whom be Allahs Peace and Blessings) ordered the people to pay Zakat-ul-fitr before going to the 'Id prayer. (Bukhari, 1424)

Its all about the Intention
Narrated by Abu Hurayrah: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Many a one who fasts obtains nothing from his fasting but thirst, and many a one who prays during the night obtains nothing from his night prayers but wakefulness." (Al-Tirmidhi, 2014)

Non-Believers on the Day of Resurrection
Anas b. Malik reported that Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: It would be said to the non-believers on the Day of Resurrection: If you were to possess gold, filling the whole earth, would you like to secure your freedom by paying that? He would say: Yes. Thereupon it would be said to him: Something easier (than this) was demanded from you (but you paid no heed to it). (Muslim, 6735)
