Post  Lacra Fri Oct 16, 2009 3:50 am

Abu Bakr b. Abdullah b. Qais reported on the authority of his father that Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said that in Paradise there would be for a believer a tent of a single hollowed pearl the breadth of which would be sixty miles. It would be meant for a believer and the believers would go around it and none would be able to see the others. (Muslim, 6804)

Post  Lacra Fri Oct 16, 2009 4:25 am

Abu Huraira reported Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) having said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allaah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allaah, and He would have pardoned them. Mercy of Allah

Jundub reported that Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) stated that a person said: Allaah would not forgive such and such (person). Thereupon Allaah the Exalted and Glorious, said: Who is he who adjures about Me that I would not grant pardon to so and so; I have granted pardon to so and so and blotted out his deeds (who took an oath that I would not grant pardon to him). (Muslim, 6350)

Hadith - Faith in Allah - Page 2 Empty Re: Hadith - Faith in Allah

Post  Lacra Wed Nov 11, 2009 1:05 pm

Anas b. Malik reported Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: Neither nurse mutual hatred, nor jealousy, nor enmity, and become as fellow brothers and servants of Allaah. It is not lawful for a Muslim that he should keep his relations estranged with his brother beyond three days (Muslim, 6205).

Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I saw Messenger of Allah (PBUH) sitting in the compound of the Holy Ka`bah, with the thighs against the stomach and arms around his legs. [Al-Bukhari].

Ash-Sharid bin Suwaid (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) passed by me when I was sitting with my left hand behind my back and leaning on my palm. On seeing me in this posture he said, "Do you sit like those upon whom the Wrath of Allah has descended?'' [Abu Dawud].
Commentary: The Jews and Christians are the people upon whom came the Wrath of Allah. Muslims have been stopped from copying their example. But unfortunately they now take a pride in imitating them in every matter and think it necessary for worldly progress.

Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Prophet (PBUH) saying, "When one of you sees a dream that he likes, then it is from Allah. He should praise Allah for it and relate it to (others).'' Another narration adds: Messenger of Allah(PBUH) said, "He should not report it except to those whom he loves. And if he sees one which he dislikes, then it is from the Satan. He should seek refuge in Allah against its evil and should not mention it to anyone. Then it will not harm him.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Abu Qatadah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "A good vision (dream) is from Allah and a bad dream is from the Satan. He who sees something in a dream that he dislikes, should blow thrice on his left, must seek Allah's Refuge from the evil of the Satan (i.e., by saying: A`udhu billahi minash-Shaitanir-Rajim). Then it will not harm him.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

"To smile in the company of your brother is charity. To command to do good deeds and to prevent others from doing evil is charity. To guide a person in a place where he can go astray is charity. To remove troublesome things like thorns and bones from the road is charity. To pour water from your jug into the jug of your brother is charity. To guide a person with defective vision is charity for you." ( Bukhari )

Anas b. Malik reported that Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) thus told him: When a non-believer does good, he is made to taste its reward in this world. And so far as the believer is concerned, Allaah stores (the reward) of his virtues for the Hereafter and provides him sustenance in accordance with his obedience to Him [Muslim, 6740].

Hadith - Faith in Allah - Page 2 Empty Re: Hadith - Faith in Allah

Post  Lacra Wed Dec 09, 2009 11:14 am

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: Allah has set forth a parable of a straight path. On both sides of the path there are two enclosures in which there are open doors, and hanging upon each door are curtains. There is at the end of the path an admonisher saying: Adhere to the path and don't go astray. Above that there is an announcer who announces as often as anyone intends to open the doors: Woe be to thee! Don't open it for if you open it you shall have to enter it. He then explained (this parable) and said: Verily the path is al-Islam; the open doors are the prohibitions made by Allah; the hanging curtains are the limits set by Allah; the announcer at the end of the path is the Qur'an; and the announcer over it, is Allah's Preacher in every heart [Tirmidhi, 191].

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, He who speaks about the Qur'an on the basis of his personal opinion (only) will find his abode in Hell-Fire. In another version (the words are): He who speaks about the Qur'an without sound knowledge of it, will find his abode in Hell-Fire [Tirmidhi, 234].

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) saying: May Allah be pleased with a person who heard something from us and then transmitted it to others as he had heard it; for many a one to whom it is brought, retains it better than the one who heard it [Tirmidhi, 230].

Abu Huraira reported Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying that Allaah, the Exalted and Glorious, thus stated: I live in the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me, And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in the assembly, better than he (does that), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And it he walks towards Me, I rush towards him [Muslim, 6498].
